We had such a great run three years ago to Ely that we are going to do it again!

DATE is May 25-27 2019 (Saturday-Monday)
MEETING at Sapp Brothers Travel Center, 1953 California Avenue, Salt Lake City, UT 84104 (possible 2nd meeting location in Saratoga Springs for folks who live father south.)
TIME is 10am; following the required signings and safety talk and tour guidelines, on the road by 1030am. (Come early to coffee up!)
Lunch stop will be in Delta with enough time to visit the Topaz Museum which was closed the last time we were there.
There will be a couple of stops including one at the Visitor's Center at Great Basin National Park.
Tour ends in Ely, NV but the fun doesn't....we will meet as a group for dinner (optional);
Sunday is an optional day to explore Great Basin National Park on your own. This area has an official 'dark sky' designation which means incredible star gazing. The Lehman Caves are there also but they require tickets for entrance. On Monday morning we can meet after breakfast as an informal group to head back to Salt Lake City most likely via ALT93 through West Wendover passing by numerous Pony Express markers and lots of rocks on wide open roads!
There are numerous lodging options including the Prospector Hotel & Casino and Historic Hotel Nevada & Gambling Hall. (google Ely Nevada lodging)
