This is an orientation session for anyone interested in attending any of our PCA track days.
Also referred to as "HPDE" or "High Performance Driver Education", track days are designed to improve
driving skills and knowledge.
Porsche of Lehi will host an introduction to the new Porsche Panamera. In addition to real treats, you will be treated to a presentation tour of the new models. Cars and Coffee returns to the calendar beginning this month. During the colder months when many of our favorites go into garage hibernation, we schedule "Cars and Coffee" gatherings as a way to continue the social connections that form during the warmer months when driving activities are the norm. Our next club event is a Cars and Coffee at Salt Lake Community College in Sandy. The morning will include a tour of the college's Automotive Education program. Led by Dennis O'Reilly we'll be taken through the departments and shops used to educate students in preparation for a career in the automotive engineering industry. Part of the global celebration of the 70th anniversary of PORSCHE. will happen at the Porsceability Event hosted by Car Concepts. Our PCA event will be a SHOW and SHINE. PCA members just bring your freshly washed cars for a casual display of Porsches. No Q-tip preparation required. Just Shine it. And Show it. Prizes will be awarded. Part of the global celebration of the 70th anniversary of PORSCHE. This event will feature a special presentation by accident reconstruction expert Dave Beaufort. The presentation will cover the evolution of EDR's- event data recorders. These are the "black boxes" in cars that record what's going on with a vehicle just before bad things happen.
