SUMMARY:IRPCA invites you to a February “Coffee Brake”!
DESCRIPTION:Porsche Salt Lake City has generously agreed to sponsor our Coffee Brake series.\nThanks to their support you will be able to enjoy several club meet ups that combine a traditional Cars\nand Coffee with a car enthusiast’s hot topic. Our February event will feature presentations and a\ndemonstration of Dry Ice Cleaning. While many of us have heard of it, it seems that few of us really\nunderstand it.\nThe process uses a variety of pressures applied to dry ice crystals to clean a wide variety of parts on your\nPorsche. Applications range from frame restoration back to a “factory look”, to wheel well cleaning of all\nthe metal and plastic parts, to a simpler engine bay makeover. I’m sure there are many more\napplications that we’ll all learn about. So whether you are a restorer, a garage queen maintainer, or just\nsomeone who wants to erase thousands of miles of road grime, there’s an application for you.\nOur Coffee Brake will feature our former region President’s 996 rolling chassis. Scott Stone, owner of\nStone Pro Services, is finishing ½ of the chassis and engine bay prior to the event. This will give all of us a\nshocking visual comparison of the before and after results of the “back to the factory” look. Doing ½ of\nthe car, will also ensure that he gets paid by Vince. Just kidding, Vince.\nWe will also provide a LIVE “lighter side” demo of an engine bay clean up. Likely on a Cayenne or Macan,\nas there’s not much to see on a typical 911, and even less room to stand around.\nAt the end of this announcement you will find a before and after example of a typical wheel well\ncleaning as well. We hope to catch you LIVE at our Dry Ice Cleaning Coffee Brake!\nCoffee and Sweets will be available on site!\n \nDATE: February 22, from 9 AM to 11 AM- Live demo around 10 AM\nLOCATION: 1228 S., 300 W., Salt Lake City, 84101. (Private alley location, not a business site)\nHOSTS: Mike Denkers has generously allowed us to use his private garage for this Coffee Brake.\nTHANK YOU, MIKE!!\nScott Stone of Stone Pro Services (www.gostonepro.com) will demo and also offer\ndiscounts to attendees who sign up for services before the spring rush!\nPARKING: The entrance to the facility is from an alley that runs north to south at approximately\n310 West. Parking is available just off the north side of 1300 S. in the “Nightmare on\n13 th ” parking lot. OR- you can come down 300 W. to W. Lucy Street (about 1220 S.), park\nalong W. Lucy Street and walk to the alley.\n
