14th Amazing Rally

All members (not just ralliers) are invited to the Social!
Location: Starts and Ends at Porsche Lehi, our rally Sponsor. Everything in between is a secret!
The Amazing Rally is a Gimmick Rally where a team, made up of driver and passenger(s), earn contest points by answering clues along the route. The route will remain secret until you are on the start line. This is not a timed event, just plain fun on some of Utah's finest road, in hopefully nice sunny weather. At the end of the day, all participants are rewarded with food and hydration, and if your team does well in the contest, some nice prizes!
Event Fee Schedule:
Rally and Social. Team of 2 people At least ONE current PCA member*
Your PCA membership number will be required as part of the registration process and confirmed prior to the rally.
Rally and Social - team of 2 people, if neither is a PCA member* $80
Social Only per person (not participating in the rally, PCA membership required) $35
Fees include snacks for rally teams and tickets for two (2) food truck tickets per person.

All Rally participants will need to complete the waiver in advance, please and thank you.
Social only participants will not need to sign the waiver - ignore it.
The Rally and Social Details
The starting point for "AR14" will be the parking lot directly in front of Porsche Lehi. Please arrive with a full tank. Sign in and car staging will begin at 9:15 AM and will close at 9:45 AM as we begin a meeting of all the teams. Teams will leave the start, 30 seconds to 1 minute apart, beginning at 10:00 AM.
The finish line for the rally will be in the showroom of Porsche Lehi. Snacks and beverages will be available beginning at 3pm for early returnees. Food truck eats will be available beginning around 4:30pm and continuing for at least a couple of hours. If you are attending the social only, know that the ralliers will begin to trickle in between 3 and 5 PM.
Rally Volunteer Opportunity
We are looking for four non-rallists to work 2 checkpoints for the rally. If you are interested in doing this, please let us know.
What is it this year?
-Officially in PCA terminology, it is a “gimmick rally”.
-It’s like a tour, but you don’t find out where it goes until you get to the start line.
-It’s NOT like a tour because you will be on your own as a team of driver and navigator.
-It’s like a rally because you will have a map telling you where to go next.
-It’s NOT like a rally because nothing is timed, so less risk of driver/ navigator demise.
-It’s like a rally because there are some checkpoints along the route.
-It’s NOT like a rally because the checkpoints are a source of stress relief.
-It’s like the game of Jeopardy full of gathered and shared knowledge.
-It’s NOT like the game of Jeopardy because you provide the answers instead of the questions.
-It’s like an IRPCA social with a fun dinner to top off your day, because….well, IT IS an IRPCA social event.
This year’s theme is “The Magical History Tour”. Along the route, you’ll be taken to things you’ve never known about this fabulous state. And hopefully, you’ll enjoy some humor in our delivery of the rally.
