SUMMARY:Porsche Salt Lake City Ogden Botanical Gardens Tour
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our Porsche Salt Lake City Botanical Gardens tour\, June 26th!\n\nWe'll meet at the Layton Hill Mall\, in the parking lot just North-West of the Sizzler restaurant on Hill Field Road. We will drive directly to the Botanical gardens where we'll take 30 min for photo ops.\n\nFrom there we'll drive up Ogden Canyon\, over the dam at Pineview lake to Liberty\, and then up Ogden Canyon to the Ogden Canyon Trailhead which is the official endpoint. This tour should take about 2hrs 30 minutes total time.\nAn unofficial (not covered by insurance) option after the tour is to continue to North Ogden at Kirt's Drive-In at 1974 N 400th E\, for one last photo op and those who wish may stay for lunch.\n\nSPECIAL NOTE: Please register for this event at msreg.com/ogdenbotanical.\nIn the past IRPCA has not asked for members and guests to register for tours. It was just show up and go. Due to changes in our health and safety landscape we are now asking for your cooperation to help us plan our tours by making your registration online. It helps us as organizers\, and we appreciate your cooperation\n\nWHEN: Assemble at 9:00 am. Hit the road following a driver's meeting and signing in\, at 9:30 am.\n\nSAFETY: On arrival please park your cars with at least one space in between each car. At all times that you are out of your car\, please maintain a minimum of 6 feet between yourself and others that you don't live with. Masks are highly recommended\, or if local or state should mandate\, required.\n\nCOMFORT: Bring an empty bladder and a full tank.\n\nFORMS: The liability and communicable disease waivers that you normally sign as you arrive for the tour\, are now fully electronic and are part of finishing up this registration process. After you complete this registration by clicking on "proceed to checkout "\, the forms will be texted to your phone for completion. Signed waivers will end up on your own mobile phone(s) as a text. We will ask you to display your signed waivers from your phone\, to the tour leader as you arrive for the tour. It feels like a mystery the first time you do it. Once you are done\, you'll say\, WOW that was simple! In the event that the waiver does not work for you after you complete registration\, you can always come back to this information page to download a copy of the waiver to your phone by entering this link on your phone's browser ---> https://irpca.speedwaiver.com/xedcp\n\nWe are making every effort to go electronic with forms. HOWEVER\, if you do not have a smart-phone we do have a way for you to bring paper waivers as an alternative.\nIf that is your situation\, FIRST please print ONE color (yes\, color if at all possible) copy of the waiver and have each person in your car sign that ONE copy per the instructions. Please enter "Wendover/Bonneville Salt Flats" on the top line. Here is the link to the liability waiver--> (https://dl.motorsportreg.com/8068c5dd-e116-48de-8935.../)\nNEXT\, repeat the process by printing one copy of the Communicable Disease Waiver for EACH PERSON who will be on the tour. Here's the waiver --->\n(https://dl.motorsportreg.com/761fe9e9-569e-49d8-9821.../)\n\nFINALLY- Bring these waivers with you. We will have a box for you to drop your signed waivers\n

Rubber gloves are recommended. \nBring plenty of water\, due to COVID-19 restrictions we don’t want to provide as usual water bottles. Pack your lunch.  food outlets might be limited. \nWhat is autocross? \nAutocross consists of navigating your car as quickly as possible through a course made of cones. It’s a great way for any licensed driver to improve skills in his or her weekend sports car or everyday car. We provide coaches to new autocross drivers who will ride with you and provide pointers. For safety reasons\, there is only ever one car on the course at a time\, and the course is designed to keep speeds relatively low. Each of your runs will be timed\, so that you can evaluate how much improvement you make on successive runs throughout the day. Come on out and give it a try. You will be AMAZED at how much progress you will make in one day! Without exception\, people who autocross comment about how their autocross experience has improved confidence and ability with everyday driving on the street. \nCome on out and give autocross a try! The social environment is low-key\, and the level of intensity you bring to the driving is completely up to you. \nPlease read before: \nhttp://irpca.org/course-worker-guidelines \nhttp://irpca.org/administrative-forms \n

In the event that the waiver does not work for you after you complete registration\, you can always come back to this information page to download a copy of the waiver to your phone by entering this link on your phone's browser ---> https://irpca.speedwaiver.com/avmia \nWe are making every effort to go electronic with forms. HOWEVER\, if you do not have a mobile phone we do have a way for you to bring paper waivers as an alternative. If that is your situation\, FIRST please print ONE color (yes\, color if at all possible) copy of the waiver and have each person in your car sign that ONE copy per the instructions. Please enter "Weather B Damned" on the top line. Here is the link to the liability waiver--> RELEASE_AND_WAIVER_OF_LIABILITY-PCA2009.pdf  NEXT\, repeat the process by printing one copy of the Communicable Disease Waiver for EACH PERSON who will be on the tour. Here's the waiver --->>>  PCA Communicable Disease Waiver 20200625.pdf\nFINALLY- Bring these waivers with you. We will have a box for you to drop your signed waivers.

DESCRIPTION:The Autocross that CAN NOT be missed!!!\nSponsored by Porsche Lehi\nThis will be a autocross unlike no other\, bring the family\, friends etc. We have been invited to use a section of the Airfield between two groups of hangers and its going to be a spectator event\, along with Airshow\, Car show\, and Air race. There will be a barricaded viewing area separating us from the crowd.\nNOTE: You must register online for this event. No day of registration will be available. \nAlso\, due to Covid limitations\, we will not have loaner helmets\, and we will not be able to allow first time auto crossers (unless you have previous experience with other groups like SCCA). \nRegistration: \nWe want to avoid personal contact as much as possible\, so please register and pay electronically at msreg.com/Sep26AX  Pre-reg fee: $30.00 PCA members\, $40.00 non-members. \nPre-registration also secures you a spot should we have to limit attendance. \nThere will be no on-site registration. \nAlso\, please print\, fill out and bring the Registration and Tech Inspection form below with you: \nIRPCA Autocross Registration and Tech Inspection Form \nThere will be considerations\, aka rules to follow at this event due to regulatory agencies involved.\n\nYou must sign this waiver for Spanish Fork on or before the 25th online or you will not be allowed in autocross area.  This must be done by 6pm Friday night before the race the next day and will be checked when you come in and sign our PCA waiver.\n\nThis is the link for the online waiver application: Stay tuned \nDo not check the autocross box or make any payment while filling out their waiver or you will be charged by them.  Just enter your name\, number\, and email\, and sign then submit-you will receive a confirmation email.  Hopefully they will remove that option in the next few days so No one gets charged by accident.  Our standard club payment system of $30 for PCA members $35 invited non-members will be the method used at our morning registration. \nHowever they are offering a very nice VIP and guest speaker reception dinner afterwards for us\, the hypercar guys\, and pilots that is recommended.  You will need to mark that box and pay for it if you wish to attend during your Spanish Fork waiver process. \n2) Autocross will not start before 10:30 am\, due to opening ceremonies and key events that happens prior..\n3) We have to have our people and cars inside our provided area by 9:00 am. "Don't be late\, arrive early!" The reason is\, we have to get in there before a mass of spectators arrive and they will block off our area.\n4) Once inside\, the only way vehicles can exit before 4:00 pm will be difficult. Logistics!  We have to be escorted down a active runway coordinating with air traffic control. "Plan on staying till 4:00 pm."\n5) LUNCH- bring it or buy it there. (Logistics) We won't be able to drive in or out freely like other autocross venues.\n6) They will put our cars in a secure area until close to 4:00 pm. This is when the last Airplane land's on the ground and the event is finished. We are at the control of Air Traffic control. Fire and Medical personnel etc.\, not to mention big daddy\, F.A.A.\nOnce again\, this will be a all day event.\, so plan accordingly If you have any questions\, please contact our Autocross chairs below.

SUMMARY:Auto Cross at Salt Lake Fairpark - Sponsored by PorscheLehi
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: You must register online for this event. No day of registration will be available. \nPlease come out and join us at SLC Fairpark sponsored by Porsche Lehi. SLC is still at an Orange risk level https://coronavirus.utah.gov/utahs-moderate-risk-phase/ This means a limit of 20 people and lots of distancing. \nAlso\, due to Covid limitations\, we will not have loaner helmets\, and we will not be able to allow first time auto crossers (unless you have previous experience with other groups like SCCA). \nRegistration: \nWe want to avoid personal contact as much as possible\, so please register and pay electronically at msreg.com/AUG162020AX  Pre-reg fee: $30.00 PCA members\, $40.00 non-members. \nPre-registration also secures you a spot should we have to limit attendance. \nThere will be no on-site registration. \nAlso\, please print\, fill out and bring the Registration and Tech Inspection form below with you: \nIRPCA Autocross Registration and Tech Inspection Form \nSchedule: \n8:00 am start course set up\n8:30 am finalize registration\, vehicle numbers\, complete tech sheets\n8:30 am vehicle check out\n9:30 am close registration\n9:45 am Driver safety meeting\n10:00 am AX morning runs\, depending on attendees volunteering\, getting ready and course length we can do 4-6 runs\n12:00 am lunch\n12:45 AX afternoon runs\, depending on attendees returning from lunch we can do 4-6 runs\n02:30 course break down and clean up.  Please stay to the end and volunteer.\n \nSet up \nVolunteers are always needed to help set up the course\, which is unique for every autocross event. Volunteers meet at 8 AM\, so arrive early if you can. Please help us\, we are a small group of volunteers. \nFirst cars will run no later than 10 AM\, following a drivers’ safety meeting. The day’s schedule depends on the number of entries\, but we usually take a quick lunch break around noon and wrap up by 3 PM. \nThis event is open to PCA members and friends\, so put the word out to enthusiast friends and licensed drivers who would like to come and learn to autocross\, or to get some more practice in. \nWhat to bring: \nA helmet carrying a 2010 (or newer) Snell “M” or “SA” rating is required. Due to the COVID-19 guidelines we will not make our loaner helmets available. Please also bring and wear your face mask at all times. SUMMARY:TOUR - All the FUN roads Tour - Sponsored by Porsche Lehi
DESCRIPTION:All The Fun Roads Tour \nYes\, this was supposed to be the two-day Birthday “surprise” tour\, but again we’re adapting to the current situation while still doing our best to keep our cars and drivers out on the road where they belong! For those of you with ragtops\, this is a great top-down drive! \nJoin us Saturday\, August 15th on a classic “all the fun roads” Utah County drive. To have cooler weather for more of the drive\, we’ll be gathering at 0730\, having an 0745 Safety Meeting\, and departing at 0800. \nWe’ll be meeting at our sponsor’s location; Porsche Lehi\, 3425 N\, Digital Dr\, Lehi\, UT 84043. From there we’ll head out to Redwood road where we’ll follow the back-roads to Nephi\, then take the Nebo Loop “backwards” to Payson. \nAs is the current model\, you must sign up at MotorsportsReg: www.msreg.com/allthefunroads \nSAFETY: On arrival please park your cars with at least one space in between each car. At all times that you are out of your car\, please maintain a minimum of 6 feet between yourself and others that you don't live with. Masks are highly recommended\, or if local or state should mandate\, required. \nAn incredibly valuable prize will be awarded for the best Mask (both judging and prize value are completely subjective\, of course). \nCOMFORT: Bring an empty bladder and a full tank :-). The first half of the tour will take about an hour after which we will stop at a 7-11 for a quick break\, and then we will continue for about another hour to Payson. \nPAPERWORK: The liability waiver that you normally sign on a tour\, is now available within the registration process on MotorsportsReg.com. This avoids contact with pens and other contamination points at the time of arrival for the tour. Please print ONE color (yes\, color if at all possible) copy of the waiver and have each person in your car sign that ONE copy per the instructions. Please enter "All The Fun Roads" on the top line. \nThere is also a NEW waiver that must be signed as well and requires a unique copy signed for each participant. It is a PCA Communicable Disease Waiver. We ask that you print and sign ONE COPY OF THE WAIVER FOR EACH PERSON that will be in your car for the tour. Bring these waivers with you as well. We will have a box for you to drop your signed waivers into\, at the Saratoga Springs check-in point. \nDirections: \nAfter the Safety Meeting at Porsche Lehi\, we will follow Digital Drive south to Triumph Blvd where we’ll turn left and follow Triumph to 2100 North. At 2100 North we’ll again turn West and head out to SR68 (Redwood road)\, and then turn South on SR68 and continue South to Elberta. We’ll pick up Highway 6 and head East to Goshen. \nIn Goshen we’ll turn South on Center Street and drive through the amazing Goshen Canyon to Mona. \nAt Mona we’ll again head south on Old Hwy 91 to SR 28\, and then turn East on 100N. We’ll stop at the 7-11 (39.7077063\,-111.8205546) for a quick bio-break/drink refresh. \nFrom 7-11\, we’ll head East on SR 132 to FR015 (Nebo Loop Road) where we’ll take the drive up and over the summit and down the North side into Payson. If parking is available at the Mt. Nebo Overlook\, we’ll stop there for some photos and some appropriately-distanced/masked conversation. \nWe’ll continue on to Payson\, where we’ll turn West on 100N\, and then end the tour at the bank parking lot behind Walgreens on the corner of 100N and Main Street (40.0439432\,-111.7318395). Folks can find a lunch location (El Tapatio\, Cabano Mexico\, and Daley Freez are all recommended\, and Eli’s Old-Fashioned Ice Cream is always a win) or head home as desired. \n
