The Last Dam Tour (for the Northern UT folks)
3 October 2020 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
With the two Southern UT tours the weekend of Oct 3-4, Gigi and Zana have stepped up to head up a tour for those wishing to hang out in the Wasatch! The Last Dam Tour will start at Layton Hills Mall at 0830, with Safety meeting at 0845 and tour departure at 0900.
The tour will leave Layton Hills Mall, head North on Hill Field Road to Highway 193 where it will turn right on Highway 193 for 3 miles to join Highway 89 where it will turn North again and follow Highway 89 for 2 miles to Highway 84. You’ll head East on Highway 84 all the way to Morgan, where you’ll leave Highway 84 via the Morgan off-ramp and turn right and travel for 1 mile to Young Street in Milton, and again turn right on Morgan Valley Road. Follow Morgan Valley Road for 8 miles where you’ll turn right at the Philips 66 gas station onto 4300. You’ll go under the highway and then turn left and travel 2.5 miles where you’ll take another right turn onto Highway 167. Take Highway 167 for 17 miles (to Huntsville), turn right on Highway 39 and travel 2.5 miles and then take the left to Huntsville. Two blocks later take another left to First Lift Coffee/Compass Rose Lodge at 198 S. 7400 E. in Huntsville where the tour will end with properly socially-distanced/masked Café socializing.
Register at MSReg (http://msreg.com/lastdamtour) and please tell us if 1 or 2 people will be in vehicle. Please maintain 6-foot social distance space upon arrival and wear your mask. Park in every other parking spot to help maintain social distancing. Bring an empty bladder and a full tank of gas.
Please be sure that you have electronically signed the Speed Waivers in the link below. You will be asked for your mobile phone number. A text will be sent which opens up a file that includes two separate waivers. You will need to sign each one (liability and communicable disease) with your finger, on your phone screen. Please be certain to scroll down after each time you sign, and then be sure to hit the send or submit button after signing. You will need to repeat this process for each person in your car. While the tour leader should have an advance copy of your signed waiver, please bring the same phone(s) on the tour with you anyway. This way, if needed, the tour leader can then confirm your waiver signing on your phone.
You are REQUIRED to sign this electronic waiver, and be prepared to present it at the time of the event, in order to participate. Click or copy the URL here to open the waiver on your mobile phone or computer. —>>> https://irpca.speedwaiver.com/cnhjm
We’ve been using it now for both tours and for autocross now for a couple of months and it has been working well. We appreciate your cooperation with our health efforts to eliminate touch points.
